The 270 Sportboat is a "27" in name only ... at an LOA of 31' 7" and set upon an accommodating 10' 7" beam this BIG cruiser earns a "10" for design and comfort.

In addition to contemporary lines, the 270 exhibits some of Tiara's best quality and design features: rugged diamond non-skid, heavy-duty hardware, superbly rigged engine room and systems, durable seating and a plushly appointed but softly decored cabin.

Accommodations include a single berth forward, very large wrap-around dinette (converts to overnight two) and a spacious mid-cabin. There's plenty of headroom throughout the bright cabin.

Cockpit seating includes a sturdy swivel pedestal helm seat, contoured portside companion lounge and a comfortable aft bench seat, all sheltered by a tall bimini and camper top.

This 270 has always been boated on the Great Lakes and shows a very high level of owner care, throughout.

Twin 5.7 litre Mercruiser I/O alpha drives. Optional radar arch and removable back seat make this a great family boat as well as a fishing boat. This is a fresh water boat, low hours and never fished. 

Broad and impressive, the 270 Sportboat features a spacious, simply designed, uncluttered cockpit.

Begin at the helm with a complete array of VDO gauges and neatly installed electronics, flanked by Tiara's signature gold-knobbed controls and a stainless wheel. The helm seat is a tall, wide swivel pedestal.

Enter the bright, softly appointed Tiara salon via a darkly smoked lexan sliding hatchway.

At the base of the steps, to starboard, is the head compartment, with electric flush toilet, vanity and convenience shower. The galley is opposite, to port, nicely equipped and with ample storage.

Tucked aft, but with plenty of headroom and a large screened window to the cockpit, is a spacious mid-cabin, to accommodate two adults overnighting.

Forward of the galley, the Tiara uses the beamiest part of the boat to feature a very large wrap-around dinette lounge. With the table inserted, this area can easily serve four. With the table removed, there's lots of legroom to relax along the leather-padded lounge. Insert the convertible cushions and this area can overnight two more.

Elevated above the lounge, fully forward, is an athwartships single berth, with storage below. To port, a companion lounge is gently curved for style and seating comfort. Aft, a bench extends nearly the full width of the transom, leaving room for a sliding lexan door to the swim platform. The wide beam of the 270 allows ample open cockpit floorspace, so you'll never feel crowded when entertaining. Walkarounds to the foredeck are wide enough for easy movement. The integrated swim platform is also oversized, for easy stern boarding, accommodating swimmers and accessing the built-in transom dunnage box plus recessed shore power and water connections.
