1964 Pearson Ensign

By far the most re-fitted Person Ensign I have ever seen.

• Hull sanded, faired and painted with: Awlgrip - Aristo Blue.
• Deck holes filled with epoxy and sanded prior to paint.
• Deck re-cored, sanded, faired and painted with Awlgrip: Snow white.
• Deck non-skid areas re-painted.
• Mahogany coaming stripped, sanded and varnished with 6 coats of Goldspar.
• Bottom surface - peeled & dried, applied 5 coats of barrier paint. Applied VC-17.
• Bulkhead holes plugged, filled with epoxy, sanded and painted with Awlgrip.
• Cabin deck reinforced with glassed-in knees.
• Painted cabin interior.
• Removed, redesigned and installed all new electrics: battery, battery charger, bilge pump, switch.
• Mahogany seats (original) - stripped, sanded, boards replaced and varnished with Goldspar.
• Mahogany louvered doors stripped, sanded and varnished with Goldspar.
• Teak sole (original)  - repaired, sanded.
• Port windows replaced [Port & Starboard].
• All fittings: stripped, paint removed and metal cleaned.
• New vinyl rub rail installed.
• Installed new t-tracks with Shaffer blocks for Genoa sheets.
• Replaced 'hanker' with Harken.
• Installed new turning blocks on mast for Main & Genoa halyards.
• Installed Tack-Tick wireless Dual T-100 Speed/Depth w/transducers.
• Installed new Ensign Spars Cockpit/Sail cover (tan).
• Recovered cuddy cabin cushions.
• Installed (6) cup holders in cockpit shelves.
• Stripped, sanded and varnished tiller with Goldspar.
• Installed new Spin-lock PXR clutches for main & genoa halyards.
• Installed new bronze deck-mounted motor bracket.
• Purchased and installed new Honda 5-Hp motor with tank. 

• Harken roller furling.
• Harken self-tailing winches.
• Harken & Shaffer blocks, and cam cleats.
• Class Spinnaker with halyard and sheets [no spin pole].
• Ritchie compass in sole flooring.
• Class North Sail mainsail [2004].
• Class BBS Genoa #1 - 155%  [2012].
• (6) 3/8" x 25' dock lines.
• Whisker pole-telescoping.
• Honda 5-Hp, 4-stroke, long-shaft motor and 3 gal tank.
• Sailboat trailer - single axle, with (2) 3" tie-down straps and ratchet tightener system.
• Custom aluminum mast holder brackets [Fore, Aft].
• Davis Windex wind indicator.
